Twisted Towers 0.18.6!

Overview

Welcome to the Twisted Towers 0.18.6 update!  This patch includes bug fixes and general improvements.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Made adjustments to CPU usage which should improve the iOS crashing issue.

  • Fixed a crash where sometimes items that no longer existed were trying to be sold.

  • Fixed an issue where the shop would sometimes snap back to the beginning of its list.

  • Fixed an issue where Orange offer bubbles were not giving their item if purchased after their timer expired.

  • Resource counters on the HUD now have more precision when at high quantities.

  • Villagers can now always harvest, even if your base is full. Previously, villagers could only harvest on full bases when Automators were set to the items they could harvest. Notably, this fixes two issues:

    • Fixed an issue where performance would drop dramatically when harvesting while your base was full.

    • Fixed an issue where villagers would stop harvesting on a full base, even if a Sales Automator could have accepted one of the items the villager would harvest.

Multibuy

  • When buying an item in the shop, we’re adding a new screen which will ask you how much of that item you would like to buy.

  • Quantity is set using a slider, which also has buttons to adjust quantity up or down by 1 or 5.

  • Can purchase up to 100 items at once. (But cannot exceed the 2500 bubble limit.)

  • Note that multi-buy only applies to the main shop tab in main bases and events.

  • Using multibuy should reduce the desync issues caused by buying many shop items in a short duration.

Events

    • Updated the event point HUD counter. It’s moved from the upper left to the upper right, and has new art. Once you reach max individual progress rewards, the counter will also switch to showing your current rank in the event.

    • Deals (except the event deal) are now hidden from the event HUD and event shop.

      • Note: The deals that are being hidden can still be purchased in your main base. They’re being hidden from events to prevent confusion (since the items purchased don’t go to the event).

    • On the event page, changed the rank reward button color to gold.

Villager energy screen

    • When adding energy to villagers, you can no longer exceed 350,000 energy at one time.

      • This fixes a bug where excessively high villager energy could lock you out of the game.

    • Added a confirmation to spending gems or coffee on this screen.

    • The UI attached to houses will no longer open the get villager energy screen when tapped.

Manage Villagers Screen

  • Made the font color for energy and beds (in the upper right) easier to see.

  • Added a button to allow you to toggle the sorting order between ascending and descending by level.

  • In the bottom right, added a count of the amount of villagers you have of each level for that type.

  • After completing a villager merge, you will no longer be kicked back to your base. Instead you will remain on the merge villagers screen (allowing you to merge again if desired).

  • When opening the manage villagers screen, the last chosen villager type and position in the villager list will be remembered. (Resets per session.)
