Mass Hero Level Up

A long awaited feature is here!

You’ll now be able to Level Up 10 Heroes with only one tap of your finger!

Tap the Mass Level Up button on the Heroes List screen, and your top 10 highest leveled Heroes (who aren’t max level) will be selected for level up! Drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to pick which level you would like your Heroes to level up to, and then see how many XP drinks that will consume before confirming!

10 is the current maximum number of Heroes you’ll be able to level up at once, as we aim to monitor our server performance before increasing that amount to higher numbers. This is a relatively resource intensive feature for our servers, so we’re playing it safe.

We hope this feature will save you from lots of nonsense tapping and be extremely useful to your playing experience!

Note: This feature is still under testing by our QA team so there’s a low probability that it won’t make it in time for 6.9, but we’re confident it will! We will let you know.

Server Merge

As mentioned in our previous State of the Game post, we are moving forward with our Server Merge, where we’ll be merging Servers 21 and 25 into Server 1!

We can now confidently say that the Server Merge will occur in the week of January 26th, 2025!

All Servers will be down for some hours while we do the Server Merge, likely to happen on Wednesday, January 29th (time TBC).

Starting from today, players can’t create new accounts on the retiring servers (21 and 25). Newly installed players will be automatically allocated to Server 1.

This will also cause some features to be limited days prior to the merge (this includes Server 13):

  • Luisa Madrigal’s Prize Wall, planned for January 28th, will likely be delayed a few days, and will begin whenever the Server Merge has fully finalized
  • Weekly Challenges will be put on hold, and new Weekly Challenges might need to be adjusted
  • The Invasion before the Server Merge will not occur
  • All events  (double drops, franchise Trials, event Crates, etc.) will not run between the day before the merge up until the day after

After the Server Merge concludes, it will bring an improved playing experience to players. Why?

  • More Competition: More players in the Server will mean there will be more competition in PvP modes! More higher level players, but also more mid and low level players, ensuring more excitement overall for all tiers of players.
  • More Action: Chats will be more active, more Guilds in the same server and more Guild activity!

We appreciate your understanding throughout the whole Server Merge process, as it’s very complicated. If you have any questions please let us know on Discord!

Badge Recipe Optimizations

We are so excited to share some news on the optimization of Badge Recipes in Yellow Ranks!

As mentioned previously, this brings a lot of advantages, but the biggest one is an improved game performance which will reduce lag overall and ensure that game servers are in a much more stable and efficient state.

The Badge crafting system is being simplified to follow the shard-based system already in use for Emerald Ranks. This update will streamline the process and unify the way Badges are crafted across all Yellow Ranks:

  • Similar to what was already done for Emerald+0 to Emerald+5, certain Badges will be removed from the game, and Heroes will receive new and updated Badges from Yellow+0 to Yellow+30.
  • Additionally, the crafting costs for Badges in these rarities will increase, and Badges in these rarities will also have their Gold and Diamond Market costs adjusted, along with an increase in their sell value.
  • The Main Campaign Chapters 41 to 71 will also see adjustments.
  • Stamina costs for these chapters will increase (since the total number of raids or battles needed to farm badges will greatly decrease), and loot tables will be revised to ensure players will only need to raid one chapter for one rank of Emerald Badges. However these increases were reduced by a lot to make sure that players spend less than the total Stamina gained per day to upgrade one hero through all of Yellow.
  • Additionally, Gold rewards for clearing Main Campaign stages will increase to align with the improved rewards seen in Emerald.
  • Stamina gains and thresholds for the reworked Emerald Chapters will increase to reflect the new increase on Chapters 41-71 Stamina Costs.
  • Team Trials loot has been updated to reflect the changes made to Badge Recipes.
  • With the introduction of Yellow Badges, we’ve made a significant change to how Level Scaling Stats are handled. Previously, these stats were assigned randomly within Badges. While this randomness was streamlined with the introduction of Emerald to ensure balanced progression, some heroes still ended up with extreme combinations of stats that caused their damage to be disproportionately high.
  • To address this, Level Scaling Stats have now been removed from badges entirely and are instead tied exclusively to Emerald Ranks and Skills. This change ensures a more balanced gameplay experience, where players have greater control over how they develop these stats. Additionally, it enhances the relevance of hero kits that provide or depend on these stats, promoting more strategic play.

We plan to keep optimizing Badge Recipes for more Ranks down the road, which will bring improved game performance along the next few months!

Improvements

  • New Guild Perks
    • Added 5 levels to Car Bonuses 1-6
    • Added 1 level for the Guild Influence Storage perk
    • We will be stopping these increases after 6.10!
  • Patch Talents
    • We noticed some Patch Talents had unintended behaviors:
    • Armor/Reality/Power Benevolence
    • Power/Speed/Damage Debilitation
    • Freeze Fracture
    • These were causing some more OP Heroes to be even more overpowered. The fixes to their behaviors should tune things down in a few Heroes.
  • Eda’s Blue Skill
    • Added a Cooldown to Eda’s Blue Skill
  • Arena/Coliseum Lineups
    • Players now need 5 Heroes on their Defence lineup to successfully attack other Players in Arena/Coliseum
    • This ensures that players can’t exploit certain Bonus Rules by only using 1 Hero on their Lineup
  • Daily Video Additional Perks
    • Players can now Raid without the need to use Raid Tickets, as long as they watch 3 Daily Video Ads

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where players were reporting some market slots being empty
  • Fixed some UI/UX issues with the new Wish Crates opening system, where players were opening a lot of Wish Crates without wanting to
  • Fixed some mistranslations in new Hero names like Penny Proud
  • Added missing damage icons to some of Mufasa’s skills
  • Fixed a bug where one of Mufasa’s Friendship Campaign titles was too long and thus was preventing buttons to appear
