Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 6.10

Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 6.10 Update! This release features Suga Mama, Huntsman, and Wade Ripple plus a number of improvements and bug fixes.

Suga Mama

Suga Mama is a FrontlineControl” Hero on the Blue team. Suga Mama will be available in the Battle Pass starting February 18th, 2025.

Skills

Smile Swap

Passive:

Every few debuffs given by Suga Mama, she Cleanses herself and becomes Immune to Disables for a few seconds.

Active:

Suga Mama swaps her old dentures for new ones granting herself and allies Skill Power for each debuff that Suga Mama gave between consecutive uses of “Smile Swap” for the rest of the wave.

Suga Mama and allies cannot gain more than a percent of their base Skill Power this way.

Additionally, during this time, enemies take additional True Damage from Suga Mama and her allies.

Chomp Strike

Suga Mama throws her dentures at the enemies, who are dealt Fantastic Damage for each bite. Additionally, enemies take additional Fantastic Damage from Suga Mama and her allies.

While this skill is active, every time an enemy is dealt an instance of Fantastic Damage it gains stacks of Corruption.

When this skill is activated it automatically cancels “Cane Toss”.

Cane Toss

Suga Mama throws her cane at the enemies like a boomerang, who are dealt Normal Damage. 

Additionally, enemies take additional Normal Damage from Suga Mama and her allies. 

While this skill is active, every time an enemy is dealt an instance of Normal Damage it gains stacks of Weakness.

When this skill is activated it automatically cancels “Chomp Strike”.

The Bold Glasses

Every time Suga Mama and her allies deal damage to enemies affected by “Chomp Strike” or “Cane Toss” effects, Suga Mama and her allies gain Armor and Reality for the rest of the Wave.

This effect can happen once every few seconds.

Cash in Hand

After Suga Mama debuffs an enemy a certain amount of times, that enemy becomes Vulnerable for the rest of the wave.

During “Chomp Strike”, enemies have their Attack and Movement Speed reduced by a percent.

During “Cane Toss” enemies have their Crit Damage reduced by a percent.

  • Charge Condition: Weakness is applied to 1 Enemy.
  • Stat Buff: +Max HP
  • Lineup Buff: +Max HP per Blue Ally
  • Effect Buff: Attack and Movement Speed

Huntsman

 

Huntsman is a BacklineControl” Hero on the Red team. Huntsman will be available in the Prize Wall starting February 19th, 2025.

Skills

Daggerfall

Passive: 

With each Basic Attack, Huntsman applies Scare to all enemies for a few seconds.

Active:

The Huntsman raises his dagger as if to strike, but his hand trembles, causing him to drop it, dealing Fantastic Damage to all enemies and applying Confuse and Vulnerable to them for a few seconds. While Confused by Huntsman, enemies that have their attacks interrupted gain stacks of Fatigue.

Bound by Regret

The Huntsman kneels and asks for forgiveness granting Invincibility to himself and all allies and increasing their Skill Power and Basic Damage for a few seconds.

The Empty Offering

The Huntsman tricks all enemies by presenting a box that deals Fantastic Damage, Steals all their buffs and stores them inside the box. Additionally, all enemies are Stunned and Cursed for a few seconds.

The box can hold a maximum amount of each buff type and keeps the ones with the highest time.

Huntsman Hat

When an ally is about to receive a debuff, that debuff is blocked by Huntsman, and that ally receives a random buff from the Huntsman’s box. If the box is empty, they gain an HP Shield instead.

Allies can only be Shielded this way once per stage.

Hunter’s Arsenal

At the start of combat, Huntsman becomes Invisible for a few seconds.

Huntsman Basic Attacks now deal bonus Fantastic Damage.

“Bound by Regret” now Cleanses all allies and increases their damage dealt by a percent for a few seconds.

“The Empty Offering” now Saps all enemies for a few seconds.

  • Charge Condition: 10 seconds of combat have elapsed
  • Stat Buff: +Skill Power
  • Lineup Buff: +Max HP per Damage Role Ally

Wade Ripple

 

Wade Ripple is a FrontlineTank” Hero on the Yellow team. Wade Ripple will be available in the Prize Wall starting February 19th, 2025.

Skills

Wave Breaker Strike

Passive:

Wade’s Basic Attacks do Fantastic damage and give him HP Shield.

Active: 

Wade Ripple transforms into a crashing wave, upon crash, Wade deals Fantastic Damage, Distracts the enemies and reduces their Basic Damage and Skill Power for a few seconds. While Distracted by this skill, enemies grant Wade stacks of Hardy and Determination for each attack they perform on him. Each Hero can only trigger this effect once every few seconds.

Tears of the Tide

Water jets come out from Wade’s eyes, gaining Skill Power for a few seconds. During this time, Wade receives less damage, and a percent of the damage he receives is converted into HP Shield.

Liquid Rampart

Wade Ripple stands his ground, gaining an HP Shield every second for the next few seconds. After this time, if Wade's current HP Shield exceeds his Max HP, he consumes the Shield to permanently increase his Max HP by the same amount. For each HP Shield consumed, Wade gains stacks of Endurance and Armor for a few seconds.

Ripple Song

If Wade's HP reaches 0 HP, he becomes berserk, gaining a Shield equal to a percent of his Max HP. If this Shield is not destroyed within a few seconds, Wade Heals himself for the remaining Shield amount otherwise he gets KO’d. During this time Wade cannot gain any additional Shields.

This effect can occur up to a certain amount of times per wave.

Wade’s Yellow Bag

Whenever Wade Ripple receives damage equal to more than a percent of his Max HP, Wade gains Dodge for a few seconds. This effect can only trigger once every few seconds.

When using “Tears of the Tide”, Wade Cleanses all debuffs from himself and gains HP Shield for each debuff removed. Additionally, upon using it, he grants an HP Shield to his allies for a few seconds.

Wade is Immune to Shatter and Fantastic Damage. Additionally, any instance of Fantastic Damage dealt to Wade is converted into HP Shield. This effect can only trigger once every few seconds.

Prize Wall and Hero Release Changes

After deeply analyzing data, we are making some changes to the Prize Wall and to the way we release new Heroes moving forward, starting now with 6.10!

The Prize Wall itself will have the following changes:

  • From now on, the Prize Wall will feature two new Heroes.
  • The overall pull rate for obtaining a Hero is 1/36 (~2.78%). After 36 consecutive unsuccessful pulls, the probability will increase by 1/36 per pull until it reaches 100%. Once a Grand Prize is successfully pulled, the rates will reset. This pity system will carry over between Prize Walls.
  • The Grand Prize will now randomly grant Hero Chips for one of the two featured Heroes. Each time a Grand Prize is obtained, the player will also receive enough Hero Skill Chips to upgrade that Hero to the next star rarity.
  • Once both featured Heroes have reached their maximum star rarity, players will start receiving Red Skill Chips along with additional Hero Chips from Grand Prize pulls.
  • Prize Wall tokens and their distribution have been reworked to ensure that each pull has more impact. While tokens will be scarcer overall, the rewards per pull will be greater.
  • Players can earn Prize Wall tokens through:
  • Daily Quests
  • Achievement Milestones
  • Battle Pass Rewards
  • Limited-time Deals

As for the different distribution methods, up until this point we had the following:

  • Battle Pass - on the day of new Client release
  • Prize Wall - one week after new Client release
  • Contest Rank Rewards - three weeks after new Client release

This brought a few concerns, namely an excessively high amount of time between hero releases and difficult access to new Heroes (especially on Contest Rank Rewards).

Moving forward, we are releasing the 3 new monthly Heroes in the first week of the Client release!

This means that the Battle Pass Hero - Suga Mama - is releasing on Tuesday, February 18th, and the Prize Wall Heroes - Huntsman and Wade Ripple - are planned to release on Wednesday, February 19th.

Another important note is that the Battle Pass will no longer have the new Hero Chips on the Free Track.

Black History Month Events

In the second half of February we’re celebrating Black History Month! 

Starting February 17th, look around the city for exciting events such as Bonus Chances, Market Discounts, Limited Time Special Event Crates, and even a themed Special Invasion to celebrate Black History Month! 

There will be a different bonus event each day, so make sure to login daily through February 28th. We will also be extending Suga Mama’s Early Access Trials to last until the end of the month as part of this limited time package of events! Make sure to participate in all the celebrations for a chance to earn exclusive Penny Proud and Suga Mama cosmetic borders!

    • This is the final Client release where we will be increasing these!
  • Snow is gone!
    • We are back to the normal DHBM environment, now that the major winter happenings are behind us!

 

Bug Fixes

  • Chapter 60 Yellow Badges are fully functional now
  • All the secondary loot from Yellow Campaign Chapters is now relevant and fully functional
  • Fixed a bug with Chernabog’s White Skill, where he was not becoming Invincible
  • Fixed a bug with Chernabog’s second Real Gear
  • Confusion is now considered a Disable
  • Fixed a bug where using Luisa Madrigal in Arena was causing the game to crash
  • Fixed a bug with Joe Gardner’s Energize, as it would stack with itself
  • Fixed 2 bugs with Jessie’s White Skill
    • Firstly, if she has more than one Enemy alive, the initial target will take the Damage amount times the number of Enemies alive, which made her deal an insane amount of damage
    • She would always steal 1 Buff with every kick, which was not intended behavior
  • Fixed a crash issue in Invasion
  • Fixed a bug where Mother Gothel’s Patch Talents were incorrectly synced in 6.9-A

 

New Hero Locations and Content Adjustments

Heroes will not appear in new locations until they refresh.

Please note the heroes in the Elite Campaign have been slightly adjusted.

  • Helga Sinclair replaces Goliath in the Surge Shop
  • Colette replaces Dr. Bunsen Honeydew & Beaker in the Arena Shop

Shop rotations will refresh after February 28th, 2025, at your usual refresh time. 

This is a full app and server update that is currently planned for Tuesday, Feb 18, 2025
