Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 7.0

Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 7.0 Update! This release features Edna “E” Mode, Candace Flynn, and Gantu plus a number of improvements and bug fixes.

Edna “E” Mode

 

Edna “E” Mode is a FrontlineTank” Hero on the Red team. Edna “E” Mode will be available in the Battle Pass starting May 13th, 2025.

Skills

No Capes!

Edna Mode yells "NO CAPES!" at all enemies, dealing Normal Damage, gaining Armor and Reality for a few seconds. Additionally, Edna Studies all enemies for a few seconds and applies stacks of Decay and stacks of Fatigue.

Cozy Cuppa

Edna Mode drinks a cup of coffee, Cleansing herself and all allies. Additionally, Edna gains Armor and Reality for a few seconds, and for each debuff removed, Edna gains energy.

This skill can trigger even when Edna Mode is Disabled.

Shoo Away

Edna Mode shoos all enemies away dealing Normal Damage twice. Additionally, Edna Pierces and Distracts them for a few seconds.

Hero Stylist

Edna Mode cannot take more than a percent of her Max HP from a single instance of damage. Whenever incoming damage would exceed this limit, Edna permanently gains Armor and Reality, up to a maximum amount. This buff cannot be Copied, Stolen, or Removed and they only reset between waves.

Lab Command

Edna Mode Limits the Most Wanted enemy for the entire combat. Additionally, whenever the Most Wanted enemy deals damage to an ally, Edna redirects a percent of that damage to herself instead.

Studied enemies deal a percent less Damage.

“Cozy Cuppa” now also grants Reflect and Heals Edna for some HP per second for a few seconds. Additionally, Edna instantly activates “Cozy Cuppa” if herself and her allies accumulate more than a certain amount of total cleansable debuffs.

Candace Flynn

Candace Flynn is a FrontlineControl” Hero on the Red team. Candace Flynn will be available in the Prize Wall starting May 14th, 2025.

Skills

Mom Alert

Candace calls her mom for help, trying to show that something strange is happening, dealing Normal Damage to all enemies.

Additionally, every time Candace uses this skill she will change the behaviour of her “Tactical Warning” from “Snitch” Mode to “Bust” Mode and vice-versa.

After this skill is Cast, Candace will remove any Basic Damage and Skill Power buffs granted to herself and Allies, and remove any Basic Damage and Skill Power debuffs granted to Enemy Heroes.

Tactical Warning

Candace tries to show her team what the enemies are planning!

If Candace is on “Snitch” Mode, she will negate all Crits and all enemy heroes will become Limited for a few seconds. Limited enemies will also have their skill cooldowns increased by a percent.

During this time, for every crit negated Candace gains Basic Damage and Skill Power.

If Candace is on “Bust” Mode she will reduce all enemies Tenacity and Evasion for a few seconds. Additionally all allies will gain Precise and be Overloaded.

During this time, for every debuff inflicted Candace gains Basic Damage and Skill Power.

After this skill is activated Candace proceeds to cast ”Etiquette Test”.

Etiquette Test

Candace practices etiquette by balancing 3 books on her head, becoming Berserk and Distracting the entire enemy team for a few seconds.

If Candace is on “Snitch” Mode, for every Damage received, the enemy team gains stacks of Fatigue and stacks of Decay. Furthermore they will lose Basic Damage and Skill Power.

If Candace is on “Bust” Mode, for every Damage given, Candace will remove stacks of Hardy and stacks of Determination from Enemy Heroes. Additionally allies gain Basic Damage and Skill Power.

Candace gains a percent less Energy when she is damaged and this skill is Active.

Gift Surprise

When Candace’s Skill Power and Basic Damage increase past a certain amount, Candace becomes Invincible. She loses this buff if any of these stats drop below the above value.

Candace can only activate this effect once every few seconds.

Love Frame

Enemies Limited by Candace have their Skill Level reduced by an additional percent.

When “Etiquette Test” ends, Candace gains a shield worth a percent of the damage taken. 

When Candace activates “Mom Alert”,  Limited Enemy Heroes cannot use skills for the next few seconds. Additionally Allies cannot lose Overload until they cast their skills a certain amount of times.

  • Charge Condition: 10 seconds of combat have elapsed
  • Stat Buff: +Max HP
  • Lineup Buff: +Max HP per Red Color Ally

Gantu

 

Gantu is a BacklineControl” Hero on the Blue team. Gantu will be available in the Prize Wall starting May 14th, 2025.

Skills

Trap Shooter

Gantu uses his gun and shoots a net at the “Most Wanted” enemy, dealing Fantastic Damage and traps them for a few seconds. 

Additionally, trapped enemies become Vulnerable for a few seconds and all Fantastic Damage will always Crit. All Fantastic Damage that would normally Crit will be converted into a Super Crit instead.

This Skill cannot be Evaded or Dodged and the duration is not affected by Tenacity. If there is no “Most Wanted” enemy, Gantu will target the enemy with the least HP. Gantu can’t trap enemies that are already trapped and can only have a certain amount of trapped enemies at the same time.

Outlaw Smirk

When Gantu reaches a percent of HP, he reveals a newspaper to all enemies, dealing Fantastic Damage and applying Scare for a few seconds. Additionally, for the next few seconds, Gantu Heals for a percent of the damage he deals.

Plasma Barrage

Gantu uses his gun to fire 3 plasma shots to the closest enemy, dealing Fantastic Damage per Shot and Reducing their Attack Speed by a percent for a few seconds. If the targeted enemy is KO’d during this skill, Gantu will instantly recast it.

Plasma Holster

When Gantu or an ally deals damage to a Scared enemy, they become Snared for a few seconds. Additionally, when an enemy does not move for more than a few seconds they have Weakness stacks applied and are dealt Fantastic Damage every second.

Snares from this skill cannot be Cleansed, Dodged or Evaded.

V-Belt

Enemies that would be KO’d while trapped by Gantu’s “Trap Shooter” have their HP set to a percent of their Max HP and become Charmed for the rest of the wave. Enemies Charmed this way cannot be Revived by any source. Enemies Immune to Charm ignore this effect and instead grant Gantu Energy and are instantly KO’d. This effect can only happen once per enemy Hero.

“Plasma Barrage” now prioritizes the closest trapped enemy and deals bonus Fantastic Damage per plasma shot to trapped enemies.

“Outlaw Smirk” now increases Gantu’s and all allies' Skill Power and Basic Damage for a few seconds.

Heroes Refresh - The Incredibles Family

Mr. Incredible

Base Stats

  • Increased Max HP
  • Increased Basic Damage
  • Increased Skill Power

Skills

Grand Slam

Mr. Incredible flies into the air and dives into the middle of his enemies, dealing Normal Damage and Stunning them for a couple of seconds.
Additionally, after the Stun ends or is Removed, Mr. Incredible Distracts them for a couple of seconds.

Pound Quake

Mr. Incredible stomps the ground hitting all nearby enemies, dealing Normal Damage, reducing their Damage Dealt for a couple of seconds and applying some stacks of Fatigue.
Additionally, for each enemy hit, Mr. Incredible gains Armor for a couple of seconds.

Super Duper

Once Mr. Incredible falls below a certain Percent of his Max HP, his Attack and Movement Speed Increase and his Basic Attacks apply Pierce for a couple of seconds.
Additionally, for the next couple of seconds, Mr. Incredible's Basic Attacks gain bonus Normal Damage every time he uses his Skills or Basic Attacks. This bonus damage can't exceed a certainNormal Damage and cannot be Copied, Stolen, or Removed, and lasts between waves.

“Super Duper” can only trigger once per wave.

Hale and Hearty

When Mr. Incredible is about to be displaced, he blocks the effect, gaining Reality for a couple of seconds and stacks of Endurance.

Super Strong

Immediately after blocking a Displacement effect, Mr. Incredible casts “Pound Quake”.

Mr. Incredible now gains Max HP every time he Stuns an enemy up to a maximum of a certain Bonus Max HP.

Every time an ally is KO’d, Mr. Incredible Cleanses himself and gains Reflect for a couple of seconds

Skills

Iron Fist

Mrs. Incredible smashes her large fist down on the head of the furthest enemy, dealing Fantastic Damage, Stunning them for a couple of seconds, and granting herself stacks of Determination.

Element of Surprise

Mrs. Incredible uppercuts the furthest enemy, dealing  Fantastic Damage, applying stacks of Weakness, and gaining stacks of Hardy.

Roundhouse

Mrs. Incredible kicks the closest enemy, dealing Fantastic Damage, Knocking them Back, and applying  stacks of Decay.
Additionally, Mrs. Incredible reduces their Attack and Movement Speed for a couple of seconds.

Stretch Goals

For each stack of Hardy consumed, Mrs. Incredible gains Skill Power, up to a specific maximum.

Additionally, if Mrs. Incredible has no Hardy stacks, she gains an additional Skill Power.

Super Stretch

Mrs. Incredible is Immune to Disables, and for each time an enemy attempts to Disable her, she gains stacks of Hardy.
Additionally, Mrs. Incredible is Invincible while she is the hero with the most Hardy stacks on the battlefield.

Mrs. Incredible’s attacks against enemies with Hardy stacks are guaranteed Super Crits.

Violet

Base Stats

  • Increased Max HP
  • Increased Basic Damage
  • Increased Skill Power

Skills

Secure Squad

Instead of dealing damage, Violet’s Basic Attacks Shields enemies for a certain HP. While shielded by Violet, enemies deal reduced Damage. 

If Violet’s Shield on enemies is broken within the first few seconds of application, that enemy receives True Damage.

Violet does a backflip out of danger and shields her entire team, protecting them from damage.

Additionally, Violet Shields the <enemiesNumber> closest Enemies.

Invisibility

Before Violet is about to take damage, she becomes Invisible for a few seconds.

While Invisible, Violet is Untargetable, Immune to Damage and Disables and has her Skill Power increased.

Violet can only become invisible once every couple of seconds.

When Violet’s Invisibility ends, she gains Max HP.

Shield Roll

Violet bowls into her enemies with her Force Field. Enemies hit take True Damage and are Knocked Back.

Damaged enemies gain an instance of Violet’s Shield worth a bit of HP.

Force Field

Violet Shields herself or the ally with the least remaining HP, protecting them from damage for the next couple of seconds.

If the Shield is broken within the next few seconds, that ally becomes Invisible for a couple of seconds.

 

Unseen Advantages

Every time an ally gains a Shield, they also gain Reflect for the same amount of time.

When an ally becomes Invisible from any source, they gain Violet’s Invisibility traits and become Untargetable, Immune to Damage and Disables for the first few seconds.

Enemies that have an instance of Violet’s Shields cannot gain Shields from any other source while they have that instance of Shield. Additionally when they gain Violet’s Shield, they lose all of their Shields.

While Invisible, the cooldown for “Force Field” is reduced.

Dash

Base Stats

  • Increased Max HP
  • Increased Basic Damage
  • Increased Skill Power

Skills

Swift Strike

Dash is Immune to Attack and Movement Speed buffs and reductions from both allies and enemies.

Dash Attack and Movement Speed buffs cannot be Copied, Stolen, or Removed. 

Additionally, Dash can have a maximum of a certain Attack and Movement Speed. 

When Dash surpasses the Attack and Movement Speed Cap, he enters “Hyperspeed”, causing all enemies to lose all their Speed buffs, and have their Attack and Movement Speed reduced by a certain percentage for a couple of seconds.

Additionally during this time, enemy heroes cannot receive Attack and Movement Speed buffs. 

Upon reaching his maximum Attack and Movement Speed, Dash increases all enemy skill cooldowns by a few seconds, and goes back to Normal Speed. Dash can enter “Hyperspeed” once every couple of seconds.

Dash runs across the screen, randomly punching enemies a few times for every bit of Movement Speed he has. Each punch deals Normal Damage and applies stacks of Fatigue to enemies hit.

Getting Punchy

Dash dashes to the farthest enemy, Dodging the next few attacks and punching them 6 times. Each hit deals Normal Damage and, Stuns the enemy for a couple of seconds.

Rapid Guard

Dash uses his lightning fast speed to intercept a projectile aimed at an ally, completely negating its damage.

Each time he does this, he gains Basic Damage, stacking up to a certain Basic Damage.

Confidence Boost

Every attack, Dash increases his Attack and Movement Speed by a certain amount.

Whenever Dash enters “Hyperspeed”, his Basic Attacks deal bonus True Damage, and he gains Dodge for a couple of seconds.

The Dash

For every few attacks on the same target, Dash Removes a certain amount of Buffs from the enemy.

Each time Dash Dodges an attack, he gains stacks of Hardy.

Upon using “Getting Punchy”, Dash reduces the cooldown of this skill, a couple of seconds for every Attack Speed he has.

Jack Jack

Base Stats

  • Increased Max HP
  • Increased Basic Damage
  • Increased Skill Power

Skills

Bouncing Baby

Jack-Jack turns into a cannonball, bouncing between enemies a couple of times, dealing Fantastic Damage to each enemy hit.
Additionally, for each different enemy that Jack-Jack hits with this ability, he gains Skill Power for a few seconds.

Snack Break

Jack-Jack drinks from his bottle, gaining extra Energy for each enemy affected by “Jack-Jack Attack” DoT effect.

He then throws the bottle at enemies, dealing Fantastic Damage and making them Vulnerable for a few seconds.

Rock a Bye

Jack-Jack turns into solid metal, gaining stacks of Endurance before teleporting above the enemy with the lowest HP.

He then falls onto their head dealing Fantastic damage.

Jack-Jack Attack

Jack-Jack's "Bouncing Baby" and "Snack Break" now light enemies on fire, causing them to take Fantastic damage every second for a couple of seconds and become Drained for the same duration.

If an enemy is already on fire they take an additional extra Fantastic damage and instantly lose  Energy.

Extra Bounce

For each second an enemy is affected by “Jack-Jack Attack” Damage over Time effect they Take Increased Damage from other sources.

If an enemy remains affected by “Jack-Jack Attack” DoT for at least a few seconds, his DoT deals a percentage of their Max HP as Fantastic damage.

While this patch focuses more on exciting hero kit refreshes and fun Anniversary goodies than major QoL changes, don’t worry: we have plenty in the works for upcoming updates. We can’t wait to share what’s next. Here’s to another amazing year and many more to come!

Improvements

  • Players now need 5 heroes on their Defensive Line-Ups to be able to Attack on Arena and Coliseum.
  • The Cooldown to updated Defensive Line-Ups on Arena and Coliseum now resets when the Season Starts.
  • The Battle Pass will end the day before an update to prevent issues with incorrect hero chip rewards. (Please note that the Battle Pass will end on May 12th 00:00 CT even if it says otherwise in-game)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where Randal Boggs would become Untargetable and Invincible as long as he had his purple skill.
  • Fixed an issue where Wade Ripple Revive Skill would have weird interactions with his Patch Talent Frenzied Vengeance, and would make him Untargetable.
  • Fixed an issue where Vulnerable Heroes would receive Damage when they receive a debuff.

Heroes will not appear in new locations until they refresh.
